What comes after the School of Mathematics?
Most of our graduates have gone on to university in a field of their choice. The most popular destinations have been Aalto University (Otaniemi campus) and Tampere University (Hervanta campus), and the University of Helsinki is also popular. Individual students have gone on to musicology, agriculture and forestry, arts education at a university of applied sciences, development work abroad and many other paths. Some have gone on to universities abroad, including Oxford, Royal Holloway (University of London) and MIT. On average, over 90% of School of Mathematics graduates have got into the study programme of their choice straight after upper secondary school!

Former students often come back to Päivölä, sometimes just to visit and sometimes to talk about their studies or working life. The alumni days held every autumn bring many of them together at once.
